New Name For LPS K9 Puppy - July 27, 2022 - Micah Quinn

A special puppy has been named by the Lethbridge Police Service. The Belgian Malinois was given the name of Bridge. Thirteen year old Kassie Hotton was the winner of the naming contest and was presented with a stuffed Malinois along with a tour of the police station. The dog naming contest saw 700 entries in total. Constable Braylon Hyggen with the K9 unit says this new four legged officer will do great work in the city to help sniff out crime.

Bridge is only four months old and will be ready to hit the streets by the year 2024.
