A Eureka Moment - Looking through the fog

We begin my looking at eva bartlet who is an independent journalist who goes out to where she is reporting so we get a first hand account of what is going on which is the kind of journalism that I tend to prefer:

There is always the easy accusation that it is fake news, though main stream media have a long history of fake news so to me at worst they are the same but I would prefer to hear multiple accounts and look to decide myself?

We then take a look at the management of savagery which is a stunning book. This goes through decades of history and is very well referenced. This is one of my home work books since at least have a sense of history and can feel that my foundations are good. This has many very positive reviews which adds credibility and the author is a senior well established figure in the space:

My next reference was an early one for me since it came from a bitcoin podcast which would be closer to heart for me. Scott has his own podcast which i follow and which is a gem:

I then look at a very recent item looking at another independent
journalist reporting what she has directly experienced but who is
experiencing censorship in germany as the main stream continues to shutdown any other voices which to be is serious overreach! Voters choose who to authorise and free press is required to be able to do this?

Finally another max blumenthal video which is where my eureka moment occured:

Here we look at how main stream media labelled independent journalists as fake, without any evidence. This accusation is then used to label the journalist as fake even though there is no a single example of anything fake! It concludes by mentioning julian assange who is the ultimate independent journalist. He is looking like going to jail with a high risk of dying even though he has not done anything wrong aside from being the ideal journalist, reporting inconvenient for the powers that be?

If his case continues and he is not released then there is not free press and journalism can not longer be done!

That is the eureka moment! If someone is fine with this, with assange arrested for no reason aside from reporting the truth, then they are the bad guys/anti journalists/anti freedom of speech etc

So next I'll look more at assange and the amazing work he has done, at wikileaks and more. This more more well defined and so should be more clear cut. Less vague. Should be fun!
