Hollywood has a Problem alright. It's called short sighted thinking. It seems when your change your successful model to one oriented around new goals, it can blow up in your face.
China's Influence in our pop culture has changed the business practices of the media producers so much, it's not just slowly destroyed our beloved content, it's made these companies reliant on outside sources.

Just like everything in a globalized model, when one card is bumped, the house of cards comes down.
