India marks 23 years of triumph over the Kargil war fought against Pakistan. The country is commemorating its victory over Pakistan in the 1999 war and remembering the sacrifices and valor of the martyred soldiers in recapturing several mountains at the Indian side at LoC that Pakistani soldiers had illegally occupied.
