Building budget duck impoundment pond dam with Bobcat Y650 CTL/MTL

03-09-20. Join me for some fun and accomplishment as I work on building the duck pond, aka duck impoundment or waterfowl food plot, as I build up the pond dam with some fresh clay with the Bobcat T650 skid steer, aka CTL, MTL, or SSL. today we'll spend some time building up the pond dam to get it above the water level of the duck pond, do some dirt/pond dam grading, have some fun, and haul a LOT of dirt/clay to the lower end of the duck pond. This is a DIY budget project, and since we bought the Bobcat CTL and Bobcat e42 Mini Excavator, we are doing land management projects such as this so that over time the machines will pay for themselves by these improvements to our property in Illinois and Kentucky. Although we don't grow our own food at this point, we do consider ourselves to be modern homesteaders as we still harvest meat and some other things from the land.
