American car overturns school bus during high-speed street race

The Albuquerque Police Department in the U.S. state of Mexico released a video of a "racing car crashing into a school bus on the street, causing it to roll over."
The accident happened on February 23 when 23 students were in the school bus, the report said. The internal surveillance video of the school bus showed that the school bus suddenly hit the road while driving. The students bounced violently from their seats and fell to the ground. Then, the students struggled to get up to check the injuries. According to reports, seven students were injured in the accident, including two with serious leg injuries and one with a fractured pelvis.
The perpetrator, Mario Perez, was charged with two third-degree felonies following the crash, police said. Witnesses told police that Perez was racing with another car on the street at a speed of more than 160 kilometers per hour.
According to reports, Perez was also taken to hospital for surgery with a fractured femur, and police tested him without any signs of intoxication at the time.
