When to Write & Not Write Options | Kevin Simpson

Kevin Simpson explains his approach to options writing. His long equity strategy involves writing (selling) calls against his long stocks. However, he does not write calls (creating a covered call position) on all of his investments. He says that Capital Wealth Management's tactical approach to writing options allows you to participate in some of the upside. It is important to know when you should write options and when you shouldn't. "It never makes sense to run out on a freeway to pick up a nickel."
