After carefully considering the information shared by the CDC, the Coronavirus Task Force, and the Florida Department of Health Services, we have prayerfully decided to move our next two regular in-person Sunday worship services (Mar 15 & 22) to completely online worship services only.

This decision is not due to a lack of faith, actually, it is the opposite. Our desire to remain FAITHFUL IN THE COMMUNITY and the best way we can love our neighbors right now is by preventing the spread of the virus.

Here’s the good news: God has been preparing us for this moment since 2017. The LiveStream Team at LifePoint is top-notch! Honestly, for a church our size, we are more than ready to offer a meaningful and visually appealing production that allows people to connect with God from wherever they are.

As I see it, we have a tremendous opportunity to reach out to our surrounding community through the use of live video, especially as many people may be looking for an online faith community this week and the next.

In the meantime, instead of worrying about the virus, I encourage you to pray. You can pray for those who have been affected by the virus and for the doctors and medical teams that are caring for those stricken worldwide. Also, pray for our leaders at local and national levels. As you can imagine, the pressure of making these high-level decisions must be immense.
