Time in a Bottle (Jim Croce Acoustic Cover) - 2022 One Take series #131

Man, I have had a torrent of problems since I came back. Getting sick, then immediately finding out I have to vacate my apartment so they can address a serious water problem. Luckily, Churo and I were given a place to stay for a few days...which has turned into a week. I am hoping that we can go home tomorrow, but it still isn't the end of the apartment issues. But I will cross that bridge when I get there!

According to Jim's widow, he wrote this for his young son - almost as if he knew he wouldn't be there for him for long. Jim Croce died in September 1973, just a week before his son's second birthday. He never saw this song released - how sadly ironic? Embrace each day...
