Two New York robbers smash shop windows with sledgehammers

According to a report by NBC on May 5, a jewelry store in the Bronx, New York, was robbed recently. Two robbers smashed the window with a sledgehammer and took out the jewelry in the showcase. The case happened on the 1st local time. A masked robber rushed to the jewelry store at 16:09 that day and smashed the window with a sledgehammer. Then his accomplice came to the window with a handbag. The two packed the jewelry into their bags. The employee in the store, Yalin Reyes, immediately closed the shutters.
Police said the two robbers stole 10 gold chains and five gold pendants totalling about $20,000. The suspect has not yet been apprehended.
