My 1st Banana Circle

The end of last year I dug through part of my husband’s pride and joy -his thick green Florida lawn.
I wanted to learn how to grow bananas and other tropical fruits (and even some medical plants) in a circle like I had heard sub-tropical now tropical gardeners like David The Good could do, I also wanted a place to just throw my compost into the ground to break down and feed the soils worms and beneficial organisms.
What you will not see is the medicinal plants -lemongrass and a small Moringa Tree. Those were added later. The Moringa was added after losing one of my small banana pups to erosion and possibly wild life too, the big ducks love to go in the circle’s compost pit sometimes to forage.

Thank you for stopping in and watching me as I continue to try to grow more things that are edible to honor my Dad’s memory and to feed part of his legacy, my family. 😊

This video is family friendly content, but not “made for kids”.
