To many believers the subject of the Judgment Seat of Jesus Christ has a cloud over it. There are passages in the Bible where Paul describes a day where each believer will appear alone before the Lord for Him to go over their lives.

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." 2 Corinthians 5:10.

Paul speaks in another place of how that will look like in 2 Corinthians 3:10-17. He focuses on two things. The Day and Fire: ‘The day shall declare it,’ that is the day on the believer dies, and that is ‘the day,’ that ‘shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall test every man’s work.’

Many feel that they will be ashamed on that day. That they will not be able to face the Lord because of being ashamed of not doing more. But that is not what the Bema Seat is for. And what ever Jesus winds up burning up there in heaven, will cause you to rejoice and be glad to see it go.

You are not going there to be shamed, but richly rewarded. Do not fear it. It will be your day in the private audience of the King of Kings where you will receive your crown(s), and "a white stone with your new name on it." After which you will join the multitudes in heaven to live forever in the light of God's glory.

"There are no crown-wearers in heaven who were not cross-bearers here below." - Charles Spurgeon
