Word 1
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 11:7-15
• Matt 11:7-11 While John the Baptist got offended in Jesus and asked a ridiculous question about Him, Jesus changed the discussion by eulogizing John. He declared to his listeners that John was indeed the fulfillment of the promise of a forerunner who would come before the Messiah to prepare His way. He did not answer back with John's tone. No person ever fulfilled his God-given purpose better than John, Jesus implied. Yet in God's coming Kingdom all members will have a greater spiritual heritage than John because they will have seen and known Christ and his finished work on the cross. That God would dwell in us, by His Spirit, that God would empower us with His Spirit, is absolutely amazing. So even the least of us, filled with the Spirit of God, walking in this glorious fellowship with Jesus Christ, have greater privileges than those of the old dispensation.

Word 2
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 11:7-15
• Matt 11:12 John was thrown into prison and soon he is to be beheaded. The kingdom of heaven is going to suffer violence. The King Himself is going to be crucified. And so the kingdom of heaven is suffering the violence of man. Only the violent would take it by force. Jesus was emphasizing the need to be intentional in our pursuit of the kingdom. It took persistence, intentionality and doggedness for Jesus to finish His course and assignment. Not less would be required of us.

Word 3
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 11:7-15
• Matt. 11:13-15 In John 1, the Pharisees asked John directly, "Are you Elijah?" to which he replied, "I am not." And yet here Jesus is saying, "If you can receive it, this is Elijah." John came in the spirit and power of Elijah, and even dressed and ministered like Elijah. Like Elijah, John had a message of judgment for the apostate nation of Israel. His ministry was prophesied and he fulfilled it. John’s ministry was to prepare the nation for Jesus and to present Jesus to the nation. In a sense, he partly fulfilled his calling. The common people held John in high regard, and many of them had repented and been baptized by John. But the leaders refused to honor John, and this proved their unbelief and hardness of heart.

Personal Supplication
Father by the power of the Holy Spirit, help me to be intentional about my purpose and achieve my destiny in grand style in Jesus' name.
Luke 12:50 NLT
50 I have a terrible baptism of suffering ahead of me, and I am under a heavy burden until it is accomplished.

Daily Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover me with his feathers, and under his wings shall I trust: his truth shall be my shield and buckler.
I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come nigh me.
Only with my eyes shall I behold and see the wicked rewarded.

Because I have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation;
There shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.
For God shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.
They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.
I shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet.
Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set me on high, because I have known His name.
I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me.

JESUS IS LORD!
