Marina Villatoro--the Trader Chick--discusses here approach to trading education. Villatoro concentrates on working with beginning traders and helping them get up to speed. She says that she focuses on simplifying the markets for new traders and making it fun. While it may seem academic, she begins with teaching the language of trading. Many new traders get caught up in trading jargon so it is important to know all of the trading language, no matter how simple it seems. She stresses the importance of simulated trading and then to start out with very small lot sizes. Of course, before you trade anything you must develop your strategy and understand where there is an edge.
