Making pumpkin puree and roasted pumpkin seeds for the first time

Spending the day in the kitchen making pumpkin puree and roasted pumpkin seeds for the first time. I've been slowly teaching myself new ways of preserving and using up foods so that we have little to no food waste (if possible). It's not always been easy, and I often go much slower than someone who has been brought up knowing how to do these things. Add in my 3 kiddos that I homeschool, and projects like these can take a day or two - as you'll see! But it's been a fun adventure and I'm so glad to have you along for the ride!
