King Bidgood's in the Bathtub and he won't get out!

Do you love taking baths? So does the King. Watch as he spends his entire day in the tub soaking, washing, playing with his toys, eating lunch, fishing, petting turtles, and then dancing at a big dance party all held completely in his own tub. This Caldecott Medal award-winning book is written by Audrey Wood and illustrated by Don Wood. Enjoy!

Reading to children is extremely important! Our modern daily vocabulary carves out the richness of English language. Words are fundimental tools of thought. If you want your child to succeed in life, then you should want them to have a mind filled with words and their various meanings. Reading aloud exposes children to the richness of language and the various ways words may be used to create a picture in their minds. By mastering words, your children will be able to think, and then communicate their thoughts to others. They'll have easier access to education and information. They'll have stronger critical thinking skills, thus avoiding scams and financial traps that many in the world lay for others. If you want to arm your children with skills that will make them a powerful influence for good in this world, teach them to read. Encourage them. Help them with their frustrations. Build them up so they can keep practicing and keep trying. Someday they will have it mastered. Tell them it's okay to fail. It's okay to try and try again. They can do it. There is only one way up and it's to defy gravity. Don't give up. Don't give in.
I make these videos so that you can expose your children to read aloud stories without having to be the one reading all the time, but please remember, that nothing substitutes the power of you, the parent, sharing stories with your children. Those shared moments will be sweet memories to your children throughout their lives. So enjoy my videos, but please please please do whatever it takes to make time to read stories to your kids. Please do that. And thank you for everything you do to raise these new little people.
