Fermenting for the First Time - Making Curtido

I have been wanting to learn how to ferment foods for quite some time and today I'm finally sharing my very first adventure at it! Fermented foods are so good for gut health and as you may know if you're a part of our little Youtube family here, I've been doing more research on the gut mind connection.
For my first adventure in fermenting I decided to make curtido. Sharing how I did this with no special equipment. No ferment weights or special lids. Be sure you watch all the way through to see how the curtido turned out and my husband's thoughts on it, as well as mine.

Thank you so much for watching!
