The Bible on Sex - AV1611HOUR - Pastor Nelson Turner

A sermon inspired by efforts of others via "The Nashville Statement" (and in kind elsewhere) to promote a Godly view of human sexuality based on God's word; NOT mankind's wicked imaginations. In charity (with a call to repentance in Godly sorrow unto salvation not to be repented of), sin is exposed, named, and shown to be exceedingly sinful. Sinners and those who take pleasure in their sin are warned of the judgments and penalties for their libertine dispositions. Those who deny the Savior, and the salvation available through Him alone (and make pretense of meritorious works or dispositions deserving of grace originating in themselves as unregenerate sinners) are dead in their sins. They compound the arrogance of their offenses against the Godhead by seeking to normalize unquestioned cultural and societal acceptance of their crimes against nature. Necessarily, to advance such acceptance, attacks upon the word of God must multiply, and censorship of its promulgation must advance. The liberality demanded by deviant morality is prohibited to orthodoxy grounded in faith in the forward application of law. Christianity is persecuted by those -- many among the powerful -- who cannot abide the nakedness of shame their sins reveal. Absent the cover over their shame available to them only by the free gift of grace from God (for which they can make no claim or boast based on merit), and only by having their sins covered by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ (Who saves ONLY His people from their sins), perverse persecutors are powerless to alter how abhorrent they are to the LORD God, His Holy Angels and His Elect Saints. There is still hope though while while yet alive with breath in the body -- though hard to grasp for the hard-of-heart reprobate -- as found in the word of God:
Matthew 23:12 "...whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted." Further: Isaiah 55:6 " Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near...". And: Deuteronomy 4:9 "But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul."

Encouragement is given to study the word of God in the English language, the King James Bible, to truly understand ALL that has been revealed to us for good on this essential life issue.

The disorientation, deviance, perversion that have corrupted hearts and minds are noted, and according to God's word rightly condemned with admonition and encouragement to seek repentance with Godly sorrow for offenses both of commission and omission. Likewise, false practices and legalistic teaching promulgated by modern day Pharisees (including the Romish cult led by its antichrist pope) have the light of truth from God's revelation shined upon them. May this be a blessing to the listeners.

If this is a blessing to you by God's grace, please write to Pastor Turner at P.O. Box 257 Grantville, PA 17028 or via e-mail at Bookland@Comcast.net to let him know that the Lord has blessed you in this preaching. You may also write to Pastor Turner if by your study of God's eternal, infallible word, the AV1611 King James Bible, you have honest questions about the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ as revealed therein to God's Elect.
