Replacing a Worn Out Modular Ice Maker

After 10 years of use, the plastic coating on the ice cube mold failed and the ice maker needs replacement.

Was unable to find an exact parts match to the original ice maker W10190934 but found a later model number that seemed to be a good match.

The original 2007 ice maker was replaced under warranty in 2010. It had a failed heater coil and the service tech used the test points on the front of the unit to diagnose that problem. Another common failure point is the control module on the front of the ice maker. Since I now have two working modules, I wanted to make sure the new unit I purchased would be compatible with those older modules.
