Repairing a broken handle on the cordless C3 Hedge Trimmer

For the repair, originally used epoxy adhesive for the crack then filled the deep screw hole with epoxy putty. While that held, it didn't feel strong enough for continued use.

To reinforce the lower bend, wrapped the handle in 2 layers of Kevlar kite string. Then encapsulated that in polyester resin and top coated with flat black enamel paint. I ultimately picked up two longer screws and drilled in through the filler in the handle and inserted the screws. Under side loads, the handle was springy enough to pull out of the recesses.
