#GVOS2020 - Rhyncholaeliocattleya ‘Golf Green Hair Pig’

This beautiful hybrid has just opened it's bloom after my #Rhyncolaeliadigbyana bloom faded. A wonderful substitute and extended visual to have. The frilliness of this bloom is quite remarkable. I have posted the bud opening on my instagram... an experience all of it's own. The bloom is only a few days old, its the first time to bloom, so ... perhaps the lip will not open up fully. Also, it is not fragrant at this point. Maybe in a few days. A little surprise, is the pinkish blush at the tip of the lip. Deep inside the throat, happy sap luring the pollinators in.
