US Postal Service: International Shipping Suspensions

Our business ships a fair volume of parts to Australia and New Zealand. We normally use US Priority Mail Flat Rate service as it's reasonably fast and economical for our heavier shipments.

Since the end of September, 2021, there's been a suspension of US shipments to these two countries, among others:

It appears that US has partnered with GlobalPost to handle Express Mail shipments to these two countries:

The Global Express Guaranteed (GXG) service is handled by Fedex:.

All the countries not on the suspension list are still being served by US First Class and Priority mail as normal.

If anyone has any insight into this issue, post up in the comment section below. I find nothing searching for announcements about this on Sept. 29, 2021.
