1st Gen. Toyota 4Runner Window Track Repair

Fixing the source of a rattle inside the door on my 1985 Toyota 4Runner.

This is for the SR5 model with power windows, but likely the same track is used in other models along with the pickups of similar vintage.

Power window modification for operation w/o the key in the ACC position:

All this mod. does is remove the relay that supplies power to the power window motors and installs a jumper wire to bridge out the relay contacts. Pull the jumper and reinstall the relay and you're back to stock.

I still have another rattle inside the door that only happens with the window is rolled down. I can't find anything obviously loose that's causing the noise. It seems to be just the accumulated play in various parts of the window regulator. I tried greasing move of the moving components and that helped somewhat but didn't fully eliminate the noise.
