Notice! Mountain collapse occurred on Fanqi Road, Huairou District, Beijing

At 3:26 p.m. on July 20, a mountain collapse occurred in the north section of Badaohe Village, Fanqi Road, Huairou, resulting in a complete circuit break. The reporter learned from the Huairou Highway Branch that there is still a danger of collapse of the dangerous rock in the mountain. The relevant departments will conduct surveys and step up operations under the condition of ensuring safety. It is expected to be completed in mid-to-late August.

According to the on-site investigation and inspection by Huairou Self-Regulation Branch and Huairou Highway Branch, about 3,500 cubic meters of rocks fell on the road, and about 4,500 cubic meters of dangerous rock pumice on the upper part of the mountain. Due to the danger of further collapse of the dangerous rock pumice in the mountain, it is necessary to clear the dangerous rock pumice to eliminate the danger before clearing the road landslide.
