Mass protests erupt in France on May Day

On May 1, local time, French officials announced that more than 110,000 people in France participated in the 2022 "May Day" Labor Day parade in Paris and other places that day.
As the parade began, violent incidents continued to be staged on the streets of Paris: burning garbage and smashing shops, Paris dispatched about 5,000 police officers to control the situation and arrest suspects.
