Melting Brass Shot with an Electric Furnace. #melting

Hello everyone 👋🏻.
This week I melted the brass shot from couple weeks ago.
It was too much to melt it all at once (the downside of the electric furnace). But the furnace did a great job. In under 45 minutes it melted +1kg brass. I got it to hot, I was told to set the furnace a bit higher, so if you pull out the crucible, it doesn't cool down to quickly. And the brass wouldn't solidify before pouring.

The coins came out great, the only minor failure was the Bill Cypher coin.
That one shifted when making the sandcast.. But it's still a good looking coin😁.

To the people reading this; next week I'll be melting pull tabs with the electric furnace. And the one who can guess the correct amount of tabs, wins a coin. Tip: over 1000 but under 2000 tabs (it's a lousy tip, I know😅). I'll leave a better tip in the description next week, still need to count a couple of tabs..

With that being said, thank you for watching and reading this! I appreciate it!

✨About the TIP JAR: it's hard to make money on YouTube and melting stuff can be pricy..
I'm not eligible for the YouTube partner program and even then, the "payout" is almost nothing.
So a YouTuber made this app, with his own money, to reward smaller YouTubers (here's the link to that video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gTvqauiXSg ) So I made an account, so people (if they want !!) can tip me.

Where is the money for? Simple, for the channel! To expand, make more interesting videos, equipment, tools, etc. .. Even a small amount is appreciated! here is the link, check it out and if you think I deserve a tip, you can tip me😉. ⬇️
