A sermon preached in 1808 by Samuel Turner (read here verbatim by Pastor Nelson Turner) delineating the INFIDELITY AND ADULTERY OF THOSE THAT SEEK TO COMBINE GOD’S GRACE AND MAN’S WORKS AS THE MEANS OF SALVATION. The author shows that there are but two covenants and only two dispensations, that of law and that of grace. He proves that those that seek to climb up to heaven by mingling their supposed obedience to the obedience of Christ are not the children of God’s promise but are of the seed of the serpent.
