Georges Lemaître, Monseigneur Big Bang

In 1894, Belgian Jesuit priest George Lemaître was born. He became a professor of physics at Leuven University and was to first to propose the "Big Bang theory", which he called "the beginning of the world" or the ''day without yesterday''.
