Tomato Plant Hack Experiment 🧪 TRYING EVERY GARDENING HACK TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS |Gardening in Canada

Today’s video we look at combining all the possibilities for growing tomato plants. We are going to have a few trials happening with the tomato plants and the goal is to see what ends up happening.

First Raised Bed: Control Garden. This tomato patch won’t have any fertilizer added. And the care will be a the same amount of water and pruning as the other three beds.

Second Raised Bed: a conventional garden which will receive a normal amount of fertilizer in the form of slow release and liquid fertilizer. The watering will be regular along with the pruning

Third Raised Bed: A conventional organic garden. Which means a combination of manure and compost. Then we will also be incorporating intercropping with beans and peas.

Fourth Raised Bed: is the garden hack garden. So we will be using eggs, bananas, & coffee grounds only. We will also be using any other hacks that present themselves as the year goes on.

My hypothesis is..
First bed: shorter plants, less pruning and average amount of fruit

Second bed: tall plants, lots of foliage meaning very regular pruning and above average fruit.

Third bed: Tall plants, lots of foliage less then slightly less then average fruit

Fourth bed: initially stunted plants possible die offs and then performance the same as the first bed.
