Mayor of Chernihiv Vladyslav Atroshenko for the first time publicly appealed to President Zelensky about attacks on Chernihiv and attempts to deprive him of his powers. Atroshenko urged Zelensky to stop the political attack and support the citizens of Chernihiv. Mr. President! I cannot allow Chernihiv to suffer. Therefore, I am turning to you and asking you to intervene in the situation, to stop the political attack on me by some of your subordinates, and to support the city and the mayor of Chernigov in every possible way. Central and local governments must work together against the enemy, not against each other. The citizens of Chernihiv are waiting for your unbiased and balanced decision, - said the mayor.
