Black Police Officer Discusses The Cannon Hinnant and Zamar Jones Incidents and The Media Bias

Why do certain incidents get national (or global) news coverage while other, more egregious events, get little to no coverage? Here's my take and why I feel it's flat out wrong.

NOTE: In the past 48-72 hours both of these incidents have garnered more media attention, thankfully! Many feel that this was driven by the outrage on social media of these incidents NOT getting the attention they deserve. Our prayers go out to both families.

I started a Go Fund Me for Zamar Jones shortly after his death when I say one had not been created and his story was not getting any attention. Thank you to all who have donated. Every penny will be going directly to Zamar's mother: https://www.gofundme.com/f/zamar-jones-futurepoliceofficer

I spent 13 years on the job as a full time Police Officer. And now, as a business owner, I see things from a different perspective. I'll go into this further in my blog at https://www.221btactical.com/blogs/news
