Fiber Art Exhibit at the Mesquite Fine Arts Center in Mesquite Nevada

This year a new, exciting Fiber Art Exhibit has been added to the Mesquite Fine Arts Center in Mesquite Nevada. The Fiber Art Exhibit is on exhibit, August 1 through 31st.

Fiber art is a style of fine art that uses textiles such as fabric, yarn, and natural and synthetic fibers. It focuses on the materials and on the manual labor involved as part of its significance. Fiber artworks are works of art that communicate some sort of message, emotion or meaning and go beyond just the literal meaning of the materials.

The Virgin Valley Artists Association invites you to tour the exhibits, the gift shop and learn about the free lectures, workshops, pottery and art classes that take place at the Mesquite Fine Arts Center.
