In Taldykorgan (Kazakhstan), public activists put the mayor of the city and a road contractor in wheelchairs, after which they went to check the accessible environment of the street. Comments are unnecessary.
It would be good to make this a permanent practice for the acceptance of any urban facilities, plus arrange wheelchair inspections during work — perhaps then road builders and builders will think not only about their own comfort, but also create a barrier-free environment for all citizens.
