Why 6 5 Creedmoor is better than older 6.5 rounds.

6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5 Grendel get tons of love and tons of hate. Constant debate about whether they are worthwhile, fads, or the second coming of JMB in ammo form.

Part of the debate centers around the fact that there have been 6.5 calibers for a long time, some of which outperform the newer offerings in nearly every metric. Unfortunately for those older calibers, they also exceed the new ones in another way. They're all too damn big for the rifles we want to use them in.

Yes, I'm click baiting and pandering to my audience here, pardon me for giving the crowd what they want to build my audience. :P. 6.5 continues to be my most popular topic by a significant margin.
