In the news today, South Carolina republicans shut down an inquiry into a ballot printing error due to a 60-year-old law. The candidate who lost the race claims that a chunk of his constituents was sent ballots outside of their party. Due to the late request the issue remains unfounded and unresolved. This glaring issue is one that is not unfamiliar to American voters and is an issue that most agree disenfranchise the population. It highlights the severe need for voters to be involved and educated entirely through the process.
