Oh, dear! What do I do now? Canner problems

Well, I tried something new and in the process, something old and trusty ended up being no longer trusty! I love 3 bean salad, but I'm the only one in the family who eats it so the big batch I make in the summer goes bad before I can finish it off. I found a recipe for it in my Ball Canning book (Ball jars--made right here in Indiana--Muncie, I believe).

Green beans need to be pressure canned, but these are more like pickles than vegetables (lots of vinegar) so they can be water-bathed. Or steam-bathed. Or...both, if your steam canner decides to spring a leak after decades of faithful service.

All's well that seals well, as they say. sort of.
