Check back in a few weeks for some of the wild grape recipes I mentioned in the video. I'll probably be posting a video for mesquite bean jelly and cookies first so it'll take some time before I get to the grape recipes.

I mentioned in the video that half the footage is from last year. For this reason you'll see differences in my hair, my kids and even in the area we're picking grapes. There was a lot more rain last summer so everything was so green and lush. This year we went so long without any rain we were worried the grapes would dry up before they were ripe.

I also mentioned a few types of grape vines in this video but there are a lot of different kinds of grapes out there. In order to find out what you have, do research and check leaf shape and color, fruit size, growing pattern and color, tendril shapes (forked or not) and the vine.
