US mint began producing the 2 Cent Piece in 1864. These are 2 Cent Coins Key Dates to look for. We will look at all the most valuable coins that were produced from 1864-1873. These 2 Cent Pieces most likely will not be in circulation, but watch out for the small motto and large motto on the 1864 2 Cent penny coin. Keep coin roll hunting and always remember you can find rare and silver coins without going to a coin dealer or coin shop and spending money!
