Making your Plate Carrier fit better when you aren't skinny - Ferro Concepts Cummerbund swap.

I've used two different cummerbunds on my current plate carriers. The 4" double layer Ferro Concepts Carry Elastic and the 3" single layer Elastic models. I've just never used the 3" version on my primary carrier and decided to switch it up and discuss why I'm making that choice.

Both are great products, I just think one does a better job for us larger folks, or folks with breathing issues. I'm not an extreme case in either group, but I certainly fit in there and so do a LOT of people who get ignored by the marketing departments for tactical gear. We're the majority, don't let them BS you. It's not sexy or cool, but it's true.
