I John 2:2 Declares Christ Paid for the Sins of the Whole World

What did Christ’s death accomplish? Did his work apply to the entire race or just to a select few, namely those who believe before they die, as is commonly taught?

I John 2:2 declares Jesus Christ paid for the sins of the whole world.

I John 2:2 – And he [Christ] is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

This is the sixth session of Richard’s “Irrefutable Proof of Universal Reconciliation” course which is available for credit on LiveFaith.TV.

What does “sins” refer to? What does the word “propitiation” mean? Who does the pronoun, “ours” refer to? What does the phrase, “whole world” mean?

Join Richard as he demonstrates how to let the Word of God answer these questions for you.
