ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Ron Bilodeau. It is an honor and privilege to be considered as the next State Senator for District 18. I believe my community involvement, my professional experiences, my education and discipline and character will enable me to be a well organized, collaborative legislator who will communicate with my neighbors in the district to determine the needs of the district and work collaboratively with my colleagues to create the best policies for the community. Personal Life

My wife Marie and I live in the same home we bought in Las Vegas 25 years ago. We raised 3 children who attended public school in Clark County and are productive young adults. Marie and I both attended night school and received degrees from UNLV. I coached and officiated high school and youth sports for more than 20 years and am active in the community volunteering for my Church and as a board member of the YMCA of Southern Nevada. We love Nevada and want to give back to the community that has been so good to us.
Professional Life

Following my discharge from the United States Marine Corps I worked as a cable television lineman and constructed cable and fiber optic telecommunications systems throughout the United States. In 2000 I was hired by NV Energy and retired in 2019 after almost 20 years in operations management. I attended night school while at NV Energy and earned a Master of Business Administration a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies and Management. I have a Graduate Certificate in Renewable Energy and I am a certified Project Management Professional. I currently am employed as an infrastructure consultant for the electric and telecommunications industries.
