Perhaps today's most common alternative explanation to Jesus's resurrection is the apostles and Paul experienced hallucinations of the risen Jesus. After all, Jesus's disciples were grieving over his sudden and brutal death, perhaps also leading to sleep deprivation. In this short video, Dr. Licona offers several reasons why the hallucination hypothesis falls far short of adequately explaining the appearances of Jesus.
