How did Lyle Blackburn Decide to go after the Lizard Man of Bishopville

in 1988, 17-year-old Christopher Davis reported to the Lee County Sheriff’s Department his sighting of Lizard Man and soon after followed more sightings even destruction of vehicles from this large green scaly creature. Whether or not Lizard Man was real the tales of the this creature left a permanent mark on the small farm town of Bishopville, South Carolina.

Lyle Blackburn is a native Texan known for his work in writing, music, and film. He is the author of several acclaimed books, including “The Beast of Boggy Creek” and “Lizard Man,” whose subject matter reflects his life-long fascination with legends and sighting reports of unknown creatures.
