Scottish Highlands are Excellent on ROUGH TERRAIN & unbearably COLD temperatures. The cattle HAD to adapt to SURVIVE where the breed originated! The Highlands of Scotland is very sparsely populated, with many mountain ranges dominating the region, and includes the highest mountain in the British Isles, Ben Nevis. More info on The Highlands:

This area is DUG OUT to give Herd shelter from Nasty North Winds in Winter. Area has a Continuous Heated Water Feeder to Right of Video. Water comes from Farm House drilled 364 foot well. Water is VERY IMPORTANT when Raising Large Animals.
FYI - shaky video due to Cold Wind & my SHORTS & T-SHIRT Attire outside on North Porch to catch these Climbing Calves spotted from Office Window while sitting at my Desk!
