They were okay losing the senate in 2014. Like the White House was. Because they were so frustrated with Harry Reid. Like they were sick of him embarrassing them publicly and fighting with them all the time. You know they are not seeing the Merrick garland thing coming. Talk to a legal expert about this but you know they confirmed Ketanji brown Jackson before Breyer was off the court right after he announced he was leaving. I was asked about this many times and did not just give me an answer. Why don't you? Why don't you? Why do you know what if they confirmed Merrick Garland after the lame duck in 2014 and just said look we don't know what's going to happen but he is next in the ch. He's next in the house. This is music to Sam's ears because you've been banging this about. I was asking this many many times. I mean but this is an administration that is uninterested in packing the court. In addressing judicial review. And like that would be far down their list in my opinion in terms of things they try. Oh without a doubt. Like right now I would do six supreme court justices. Nominate nine because you know hey who knows. I mean I think I don't know who we asked about this question. It had something to do with putting in the resignation or something. or anticipating and you know I don't know. But I guess what it would be is that theoretically in the lame duck session they could pass it. But then maybe the senate could do a re-vote. When Mitch McConnell takes over the senate could do a re-vote and say we vote now to strike his confirmation down. They could. I mean that's I think that's really what I think will happen in that instance. Right but yes so there are a lot of different screw-ups that have led us to this point. With all that said, let's just do this in two minutes. I'm sorry we're running late.
