Battling blazes: 100+ firefighters tackle raging flames in Crete

Greek firefighters battle blazes on the island of Crete, where fires have been spreading since Friday. The fire service said 120 firefighters were tackling the flames, assisted by five helicopters. Some villages have been evacuated ‘on the initiative of the local authorities’.
