Russian Navy Day parade "Neva" group debuts in Baltic fortress Gulf of Finland
According to Russian Red Star TV, in order to welcome the Russian Navy Day military parade on July 31, on July 15, the "Neva" group of the Russian Navy conducted a military parade drill in the eastern waters of the Gulf of Finland in the Baltic Sea. Eleven ships of different types participated in the exercise, and one of the patrol boats had an all-female crew. The warships marched in a single column on the sea, with a speed of 9 knots, and the distance between the ships was maintained at 90-270 meters.
The day before, Russian naval aviation helicopters also conducted their first military parade. The helicopter took off from Pushkin Airport near St. Petersburg and followed the parade flight route over the Gulf of Finland, Kronstadt Fortress, Neva River and Peter and Paul Fortress in sequence.
