Scot Stoddard - Diggy Kat April Facebook Live Tour!

When Diggy Kat, mastermind of the band Vufcup and owner/operator of Lucky Star Radio, whom I've been associated and friends with for years, asked if I ever played my songs on acoustic, would I be interested in taking part in his April Facebook Live tour, my first reaction was...what, play songs on an acoustic guitar? Solo? Without all that...other stuff?

But then I thought about it for about seven seconds and thought to myself: Well, Scot, you SHOULD be able to do that; take this as a challenge and see what you can do.

And here is the result! I worked out acoustic version of these sometimes complex, multi-tracked and layered songs, stripped them down to bare bones, and actually practiced!

This was recorded and went out on Facebook live on 4/28/20. We separately recorded the audio and video, and I put together this slightly enhanced version of the raw video, it's just shot on a better camera and recorded on a handheld Zoom recorder, to keep that live spontaneous feel.
