Tucker Carlson went after Republican Senator Kramer for calling Vladimir Putin a Communist. Putin is obviously not a communist but Tucker took it many many steps further.

Here's Tucker Carlson back to I guess defending Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine. and there are so many layers of BS in his analysis here that we might need some sort of map to navigate it. here he is calling saying Putin is not really a communist but the reason the U.S is going after him is that he's a… see if you can follow this? The profile of a free country does not even close to the cause of Liberty. May those words burn in your mouth. oh but we have to, they tell us because Putin is worse. He's the worst person in the world. He's a communist says, Senator Kramer. who plans to conquer the globe. Now you don't have to like Vladimir Putin to see how absurd this is. Putin's a communist now. Really, how communist is Vladimir Putin? is veteran Putin more or less communist than say, Sandy Cortez. more or fewer Communists and say Joe Biden's domestic policy team. is even more committed atheist than they are. Is Putin throwing Americans in jail for attending political rallies at the Capitol? Is he trying to confiscate the rifles from your bedroom? Is he sterilizing children under the name of Trans Liberation? Whatever is wrong, no Vladimir Putin is not doing any of that. As for his apparently Limitless International Ambitions, ask yourself is Vladimir Putin Greek? So that's my favorite thing right now. Kevin Kramer is who he's referring to there, a Republican senator who says that Vladimir Putin is communist. Vladimir Putin is a right-winger. right but the way that right-wing neocons are you know justifying their split from Donald Trump on this is by just like going back to Old Red Scare Tactics and pretending that Vladimir Putin is a communist when he is the furthest thing from that. he is a right-wing Nationalist and an imperialist. as has been evidenced by his invasion of Ukraine. he's a lot closer to standard Republican ideology. I mean he was talking about the cancel culture and how the United States is trying to cancel Russia. what does that sound like to you? that does not sound communist.
