It's May, finally! Garden Update
7
(update: sunny calm afternoon so Stan was able to spray the apple trees in the pink. The cherry tree and pear trees are already blooming but it is calm and they are not close to the apples so they are safe. Hoping for lots of bees tomorrow on the pears and cherries!)
Lori Fiechter here on the first day of May. I must say, I don't miss April at all. Especially not April 2020. But there are no restrictions on gardening in Indiana--we just need the weather to settle down and stay settled. Looks like a beautiful day tomorrow--good chance for some of those seeds we planted.
Today, I planted my potted herbs and finally got the asparagus roots in the ground. Maybe flowers tomorrow. Maybe not. I keep checking that extended forecast...
